SHIBALAY, MANIKGANJ: The 516th Scout Unit Leader Basic Course was concluded at Aricha Belayet Hossain High School of Shivalay, Manikganj on Monday. Bangladesh Scouts, Dhaka Region organised the course managed by Bangladesh Scouts, Manikganj District. Moslehuddin Ahmed (LT) was the course leader and, instructor and the trainers of the course were, among others, former national athlete Sirajul Islam (LT), Singair Upazila Scout Leader Altaf Hussain (Wood Badger).

CHANDPUR: At the initiative of Chandpur unit of Anjumaney Khademul Insan (an organisation for burying the unknown and unidentified people), a total of 600 pieces of blankets were distributed among the cold-affected poor at a simple ceremony on Tuesday. General Secretary of Awami League Chandpur district Unit valiant Freedom Fighter Abu Nayeem Patwary Dulal hands over the blankets on behalf of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
