Get-together with actors: Living legend of the country’s film arena Shabnam created hype among the viewers to act in Ekushey Award winning noted lyricist, film director and producer Gazi Mazharul Anwar directed movie Sondhi. It was Shabnam starred her first movie under Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s direction. Later, Shabnam also acted under his direction in movie Shorto. Due to Coronavirus, Shabnam did not meet Gazi Mazharul for many days. On October 5, she went to Gazi’s residence in the capital’s Baridhara area. Popular film actors Omar Sani, Moushumi and Poppy were also present there. Under Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s direction, Omar Sani acted in movies Khudha and Ulka. Moushumi is the only actress who acted in highest eight movies under Gazi’s direction. These films were: Sneho, Khudha, Ulka, Poradhin, Artonad, Jibon-er Golpo, Ei Je Duniya and Pashan-er Prem. Poppy acted under Gazi’s direction in movie Ragi. Wife of Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Zohra Gazi and his daughter popular singer Dithi Anwar were also present in the programme. Dithi and Moushumi also rendered songs.
