Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman of Board of Directors of Dhaka Bank PLC, inaugurating its Managers Conference for the year 2024 at a city hotel on Saturday. Emranul Huq, Managing Director of the Bank presided over the meeting. Among others, Founder Vice Chairman & Sponsor A.T.M. Hayatuzzaman Khan, Director Rakhi Das Gupta and Independent Director Ahbab Ahmed were present. All Branch Managers and Manager Operations, Sub-Branch Managers and Head of Divisions/Units from Head Office attended the program. The meeting reviewed overall performance of the year of 2023 and chalked out for various strategic plans to achieve the business targets of 2024.

Bengal Commercial Bank celebrates 3rdanniversary : Bengal Commercial Bank PLC celebrated its 3rdAnniversary with the commitment to elevatemaintaining customer’s trust and confidence to higher level. A program was arranged to celebrate the occation on Sunday at its head office in Gulshan, Dhaka. Md. Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the Bank and President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and MorshedAlam, MP, Chairman of Bengal Group of Industry,inaugurated the Anniversary program by cutting a cake. Directors of the Board of the Bank were also present at the program. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank presided over the ceremony while Deputy Managing Directors and other High Officials also attended. All the branches & Sub-branches of the Bank also celebrated this august occasion with the clients, patrons and well-wishers.

Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of Centre for Non Resident Bangladeshi (NRB), presiding over the rremittance award’ ceremony ‘Branding Bangladesh’ at a hotel in the city. Mohammad Ali, Managing Director of Pubali Bank received the award from Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister. Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury MP, State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment was present as special guest while Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, former foreign minister was present as guest of honour.
