Mohammad Feroz Hossain, Managing Director and CEO of Exim Bank PLC and Md. Apel Mahmud, Managing Director and CEO of Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited (FILICL), exchange document after signing an agreement held at the bank’s head office in the capital on Thursday. Under the deal, the bank will sell insurance policies issued by FILICL to its customers in the system of Bancassurance guidelines issued by Bangladesh Bank and Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA). Senior officials from both sides were present.

Zenith Life Company Secretary Abdur Rahman, Head of Bancassurance Md Shahadat Hossain, Head of Group Insurance Md Anwar Hossain Sarkar and Midland Bank Head of Retail Distribution Division and Chief Bancassurance Officer Md Rashed Akhtar, SAVP were also present. The customers of Midland Bank can avail all types of life and health insurance benefits of Zenith Life directly from the bank.

Under the dela, all Debit & Credit cardholders and employees of the bank will get special discount on the purchase of air tickets from the airlines.
