Jamuna Bank has been awarded as one of the Best Climate Focus Banks & Financial Institutions in Bangladesh at the 24th National Renewable Energy Conference and Green Expo 2024. DU’s Institute of Energy and GreenTech Foundation Bangladesh jointly organised the two-day conference, titled, “Investing in Renewables: Fuelling the Climate Revolution”. Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud MP spoke as the chief guest and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal presided over the program.

Khalilur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Bank Limited (NBL) attended the discussion meeting with Branch Managers and Operations Managers of Dhaka North and South Regions along with the Corporate Branches of Dhaka on Saturday at a capital convention center. Professor Md Helal Uddin Nizami, Vice Chairman, Lieutenant General Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Osp (Bar), Spp, Afwc, Psc (Retd), Director; ABM Zahurul Huda, Independent Director and Md Reazul Karim FCMA, Director also attended the meeting. Moazzam Hossain, Sponsor Director, Professor A.K.M Tafzal Haque, Director and Dr. Ratna Dutta FCA, Independent Director also joined the meeting virtually. The meeting was also attended by Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director of the Bank.

NCC Bank has signed a Cash Management Solution agreement with PRAN-RFL Group recently. Under this agreement distributors/ representatives of PRAN-RFL Group shall enjoy cash transaction facilities solution through any branches & sub-branches of NCC Bank across the country. Md. Fintech solution provider Bizz Solutions PLC has won the “President’s Industrial Development Award-2021” for the company’s outstanding contribution to the country’s industrial sector. Bizz Solutions was the sole recipient of the award in the Hi-Tech Industry category. Md Shafiqul Alam, chairman of Bizz Solutions, received the award from Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Thursday. Agriculture Minister Md Abdus Shahid and FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam were present as special guests with Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana in the chair.
