Asia Insurance approved 10pc cash dividend: Asia Insurance Limited has approved 10 per cent cash dividend for the year ended December 31, 2019 in its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Sunday through digital platform. Yussuf Abdullah Harun, Sponsor Director and Chairman of the company presided over the meeting and a large number of shareholders participated virtually in the meeting. Md. Imam Shaheen, Managing Director and CEO of the company spoke in the meeting, said a press release. The meeting re-elected three directors from sponsor shareholders namely Yussuf Abdullah Harun, Khaleda Begum and Farzana Afroze. The meeting also elected three directors from public shareholders. They are Bay-Leasing & Investment Limited, represented by Tarik Sujat, Southeast Bank Limited, represented by M. Kamal Hossain and Mohammad Ali Khokon, Chairman MAKSONS Group.
