27th AGM of GTCL held: Md Anisur Rahman, Senior Secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Division and Chairman of Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL), presiding over its 27th AGM held through virtually on Monday at its head office. The audited accounts and management report for the FY 2019-20 of the company was approved by the shareholders. During the FY 2019-2020, company earned Tk.1,093.83crore as revenue by transporting 25,276.53 million cubic meter gas and 233.68 million liter condensate. The company also earned Tk.304.57crore as pre-tax profit and Tk.178.44crore as post-tax profit and a total amount of Tk. 645.99crore was contributed to the government exchequer. Shareholders and directors of the company attended the meeting.
