Zakir receives CIP award: Kuwait expatriate Zakir Hossain achieved Commercially Important Person (CIP) award for his outstanding contribution in country’s technical education through sending remittance. He is living Kuwait City since last 38 years. He is a man of Borhan Uddin Upazila under Bhola district. Zakir Hossain received the award from Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed at a function held at Bangabondhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city on Wednesday on the occasion of the celebration of International Migration Day-2020 while Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joins the programme virtually. After receiving the CIP card, Zakir Hossain thanked to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina including Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister and all officials of the ministry. Zakir Hossain established many mosque, madrasha and orphan in Bhorhan Uddin by the help of Dr. Khalid Mohammad Assohahi, Chairman, Association of Humanitarian Excellence Kuwait, said a press release.
