A delegation from the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Dhaka led by its President, Md Saiful Islam, had a meeting with Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP at his Secretariat office on Wednesday. The other members of the delegation were Senior Vice-President Kamran T Rahman, Vice-President Habibullah N Karim, Directors Syed Tareque Md Ali, Anis A Khan, Hasan Mahmood, FCA, and Mohammad Naser Ezaz Bijoy.

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, with the participation of children a language festival sponsored by Rezvol Lubricants was held in Dhaka. Medco, sole distributor of Revzol Lubricants, CEO Mosaddek Hossain distributed honour to noted language veteran and freedom fightser Monzurul Haque Shikder and prizes among the participant children in the festival. Brand Activation Manager Shamim Al Jaber and other officials of Revzol Lubricants were also present on the occasion.

An agreement has been signed between South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited and NAVANA Furniture Limited, under which SBAC Bank Credit Cardholders will enjoy 0 (zero) per cent EMI facility up to 12 months on purchases of Navana Furniture’s products. M Shamsul Arefin, Additional Managing Director of SBAC Bank and Yamin Rikhu, Chief Operation Officer of Navana Furniture signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the bank’s head office on Monday. While, Md Altaf Hossain Bhuyan, Deputy Managing Director, Md Mokaddess Ali, Company Secretary, Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Vice President & Head of Card Division of SBAC Bank, Md Asrafur Rahman Talukdar, Head of Sales, Mohammad Akramul Karim, Deputy Manager Sales, Md Sarwar Karim, Senior Executive of Navana Furniture and Md Nurul Alam Khan, In-charge of Card Division and Md Shohidul Alam, Relationship Officer of the Bank, were also present on the occasion.
