Within just a week, the price of gold dropped again at retail shops. The price dropped due to the price of gold falling in the international market. Bangladesh Jewelers’ Association, in a release on Monday, said that Tk1,076 has been reduced per bhori for 22 karat and 21 karat gold. The retail price of per bhori 22 karat gold is now Tk77,072 and per bhori 21 karat gold is priced at Tk73,574. Meanwhile, per bhori 18 karat gold will sell at Tk63,080 after a reduction of Tk955 and per bhori gold acquired in the traditional method will cost Tk54,587 after a reduction of Tk776.
