Md. Habib Ullah Dawn takes charge of the President of Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) for the 4th time. The newly elected executive committee of the association took their charge at a ceremony on Wednesday at BARVIDA office in the city. Sadeq Ahmed, Administrator of BARVIDA formally handed over the charge to Md. Habib Ullah Dawn. Mohammed Shahidul Islam, Secretary General, Md. Aslam Serniabath, Reaz Rahman and Md. Gias Uddin Chowdhury the Vice Presidents of of the Association also present.

Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) handed over a cheque worth Tk. 50 lakh and some other materials to Sajida Foundation on Thursday. This was a joint contribution of MCCI members to support the victims of the recent devastating flood in Bangladesh. MCCI President Md. Saiful Islam handed over the cheque and materials to Sajida Foundation Chief Executive Officer Zahida Fizza Kabir during an official ceremony held at the Gulshan office of MCCI.

Union Insurance Co. Ltd distributed relief items among the flood affected people in Sylhet and Sunamganj districts on Wednesday. Sylhet district unit Awami league acting President Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury and Sunamganj district unit Awami league General Secretary M. Anamul Kabir Emon, among others were present. The Chief Executive Officer of the insurance Talukder Md Zakaria Hossain and Head office Executive Ashraful Haque Jhantu, Sylhet Branch Manager Saidul Alam Chowdhury were also present in the programme.

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited distributed relief items among 1000 (one thousand) families affected by floods in different areas of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts, as part of Bank’s CSR program recently. the Manager of Dargah Gate Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd, Md. Tofail Yakub, Sylhet Branch Manager Md. Khurshid Alam, Subidbazar Branch Manager Md. Modabbir Ahmed and Deputy Manager Md. Shamim Ahmed, Beanibazar Branch Manager Md.
