ADN Telecom holds 19th AGM: Country’s internet & telecommunications service provider company ADN Telecom Limited, holds its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) through virtually on Wednesday. Asif Mahmood, Chairman of the company presided over the AGM. The AGM declared 10% Cash Dividend for its shareholders and the amended Utilization and Time Extension of IPO fund as special agenda was unanimously approved by the meeting. Md. Moinul Islam, Md. Mahfuz Ali Sohel, Niaz Ahmed, Directors, Ghulam Rasool, Khondkar Atique-e-Rabbani, Independent Directors, Henry Hilton, Managing Director, Zahir Ahmed, Board Advisor, and Chief Financial Officer of the company Mohammed Abdul Alim, were present at the meeting. Company Secretary Mohammad Monir Hossain, conducted the meeting, said a press release.

Urmi Group wins Digital Bangladesh Award 2022: Urmi Group has been awarded with Digital Bangladesh Award 2022 in the category “Technical– Private (Best Team)” for its exemplary leadership in innovation by implementing RFID system to track movement of yarn and grey rolls in its textile facility Fakhruddin Textile Mills Limited. The ERP integrated environment friendly RFID system facilitates labor savings, textile machineries downtime reduction, automated audit, finding specific item, better productivity and efficiency due to smooth supply chain. Managing Director of Urmi Group and Director of BGMEA Asif Ashraf along with Mir Ashraful Hossain, Director and COO of Urmi Group, received the award from the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a program held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) on Monday. Shamarukh Fakhruddin and Faiaz Rahman, Directors of the group were also present on the occasion.
