DU’s Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Triumphs in ‘Battle of Minds’ 2023. The coveted championship title was secured by ‘Team Khichuri’ from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University. The triumphant team, composed of Abir Ershad, Mashrif Hasan Adib, and Mohtasim Bin Habib, showcased their exceptional ingenuity by outshining four other finalist teams with their innovative project titled Synergy. Synergy is an energy initiative that sells biogas cylinders as a sustainable cooking gas alternative.

Huawei has announced six winners of ‘Seeds for the Future 2023’ at a gala event held at Huawei Bangladesh Academy. The winners will go to China for further exploration and trainings. Mohammad Ajmain Fatin, University of Dhaka(EEE); AL Mumtahina Arika, Islamic University of Technology (EEE); FarsiaKawsar Chowdhury, BUET (ME); Arpan Saha, University of Dhaka (EEE); Mayeesha Farjana, RUET (CSE); and Sajid Ahmed Chowdhury, IUT (CSE) are the winners of this year’s program. The winners will be given the exclusive opportunity to attend training at Shanghai and Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

AB Bank Limited signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank aimed at facilitating the CMSME entrepreneurs avail loan services at low interest rates and simple conditions. The deal was signed under the pre-finance scheme of Tk. 25,000 crore. Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman, Director, SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank (BB) and Tarique Afzal, President and Managing Director of AB Bank Limited, exchange documents after signing the deal while senior officials from both sides were present.

Bank Asia awards certificates to 60th foundation course participants: Bank Asia Limited has awarded certificates to its officers, who participated, in the second phase of 60th Foundation Training Course recently. A total of 31 officers from different levels of the bank participated in the course. M Esamul Arephin, Head of BAITD (CC), handed over the certificates among the participants at a program held at the Bank Asia Institute for Training and Development (BAITD), Lalmatia, Dhaka.
