1000 cow-fattening tablets seized

Chitagong Bureau :

A mobile court of Chittagong District Administration today seized 1000 pieces of Indian cow fattening tablets from a pharmacy in city’s Laldighi area and fined the pharmacy owner TK 30 thousand.
Deputy Revenue Collector and Executive Magistrate of Chittagong District Administration Mohammad Ruhul Amin led the mobile court and fined Musa Saudagar, owner of Messer’s Overseas Pharmacy.
The executive magistrate said some unscrupulous businessmen illegally use the contraband tablets to fatten cows which are harmful to human health.
