Mahmudullah still hopeful for match result

Allrounder Mahmudullah still hopeful to get a result of the first Test by saying that they have still fair chance of doing well in the match, despite lose of some wickets on the second day.
He was speaking at a post match press conference held on Wednesday at the match venue.
“When Tamim and me were on the crease, our initial target was to stretch the partnership so that we can set up a big total … we were probably in the face of best bowling attacks and failed to do so. We have depth batting line with Mushfiq and Shakib still on the crease lets see what happen tomorrow (Thursday).” said Mahmudullah.
The allrounder claimed that they are now in good position and aiming to score 400 plus in the first innings as Mushfiq and Shakib are still in the crease.
Replying to a question he said the first session of the third day is very important because they are aiming to stretch the innings and their target would be not to lose any wickets in the first session.
Asked whether dismissing South Africa at 248 can be proved a positive side for Bangladesh the right handed batsman said they don’t usually get chance like this against the big teams so they want to make the best use of it.
