Rakul Preet opens up about income tax raids

Various reports have been circulating about the Income Tax Department’s raids on Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh and her husband Jackie Bhagnani

It was alleged that raids were conducted at about 12 addresses related to the star couple on the basis of financial irregularities.

Ever since that news came to light, various speculations have been made about Rakul and Jackie. Now the actress herself has answered all the discussions.

After remaining silent on the issue, Rakul has now clarified her position on social media.

Claiming the news published in media to be fake, the actress wrote, “The way the mainstream media has spread a news without any verification is very unfortunate. I want to make this clear.

This search was not about me.” Rakul also shared her family background and professional journey. She wrote, “I am a daughter of an armed forces family.

I had no godfather in this Bollywood. I tried to establish myself through my own hard work. I have been paying taxes since I was 20 years old, following all the rules.”

Finally, the actress also directly denied the allegations of financial irregularities against the production house.
