KMCH units get medical equipment

Essential medical equipment, including nebulizers, pulse oximeters, gluco-meters and thermometers, has been provided to every unit of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).

Dr Abu Jafar Md Saleh, general secretary of the Khulna unit of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), provided the equipment from his personal initiative.

The equipment was handed over to KMCH Director Dr Kazi Md Ainul Islam at a programme held at Medicine Unit-5 around 12:30pm on Wednesday.

KMCH Assistant Director Dr Kazi Md Ahsan Habib, Dr Tajrul Islam Taj and registrars from different departments were present at the programme.

Dr Kamrul Nishan conducted the event.
Hospital officials said having the essential equipment readily available in each unit would help ensure prompt medical attention for patients and reduce unnecessary delays and inconvenience.
