Richa, who ‘fought to survive’ during childbirth, returning to camera

Richa Chadha is one of the boldest and most influential actresses in Bollywood. The star, who won the hearts of her fans with her brilliant performances in films like ‘Masaan’ and ‘Fukrey’, was away from the limelight of big screen or OTT for a long time.

Richa has finally opened up about why she took a break from work. Richa and her husband Ali Fazal welcomed their first daughter, Juniora Ida Fazal, into the world in July 2024.

After the phenomenal success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Hiramandi’, she has not been seen in any new acting projects. In an interview with News18, Richa said that the period of childbirth was very difficult for her physically and mentally.

Richa says, “I had a normal delivery and lost a lot of blood during delivery. My body became so weak that my brain was not functioning. It took me a long time to fully recover.”
