Speaking at the inauguration, Lutfor Rahman said, “We must work together through coordinated efforts between the government and the private sector to protect our environment. Only then can we build a Greener Bangladesh.”
He also said, “At the same time, industries should move toward sustainable production by increasing the use of environmentally friendly technologies, such as zero-discharge plants.
Initiatives like those undertaken by PRAN-RFL will set a positive example for environmental management in the industrial sector.”
Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director at PRAN-RFL Group, said, “We have been implementing various initiatives to protect the environment and ensure the efficient use of resources.
The establishment of the Zero Discharge Plant is a continuation of these efforts. Reducing water consumption through water reuse and minimizing the environmental impact of industrial wastewater are the main objectives of this initiative.”
“As an industrial organization, we are committed not only to production but also to fulfilling our responsibility towards the environment. The Zero Discharge Plant will create opportunities to treat and reuse water used in our factories while significantly reducing the discharge of liquid waste into the environment,” he added.
Kamal also said the PRAN-RFL Group will continue to adopt effective technologies and innovative solutions in areas including environmentally responsible production, waste management, water conservation and reuse, and sustainable industrialization.
