Prova’s anger over use of personal photos in posters

OTT platform ‘Bongo’ has been promoting a drama for a few days. The drama, titled ‘Look a Like’, is directed by Foyez Ahmed Reza.

It stars Mosharraf Karim, Sadia Jahan Prova, Chittralekha Guha and Saidur Rahman Pavel. The company also released a trailer and several posters.

However, the trouble came on Friday due to another new poster on the release day.
That poster did not use the look or scene from the drama, but a personal photo of Prova.

Since its release, netizens have been making negative comments about it.
Prova noticed the matter.

She reacted angrily. She wrote in a Facebook message, “The person who designed the poster made a serious mistake. This picture was taken from my Instagram account.

This is my personal picture, which I myself took using a Bluetooth remote. The most important thing is that if this picture has no relation to the drama or its story, then it should not have been used in any way.

The poster designer, director or production team should have contacted me and taken permission before using my Instagram picture.”

Prova believes that such ‘unprofessional’ behaviour is not desirable in professional work. She commented, “I don’t consider this to be professional behavior at all. Using someone’s personal photo without their consent is in no way acceptable.”

‘Bongo’ took Prova’s reaction into consideration. The poster was quickly deleted from their page. Later, another new poster was released.

In which a look of Prova from the drama was used. The story of the drama is a mix of family drama and mystery.

The story takes an unexpected turn around a murder case. The climax will be at the end of the drama.

The drama is currently being shown on ‘Bongo’.
