Kiara responds to sarcasm about acting in intimate scenes

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has made a fresh start by teaming up with South Indian superstar Yash in film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups’. She has faced criticism from a section of netizens for her intimate and daring scenes in the film.

A large section of the detractors have alleged that it was not appropriate for her to play such a role on screen after becoming a mother.

Kiara’s presence on screen opposite Yash as ‘Nadia’ and her bold scenes have already caught the attention of audience and fans.

Citing her strong stance on conventional portrayal of female characters, Kiara said that she never wants any female character to be confined to a specific frame.

She said, “I don’t want women to be confined to one type of character. We are much ahead of that. So why shouldn’t the characters on screen be like that?”
