Four champs in the semis, but England didn’t expect it at 1st

Looking at the lineup of this year’s World Cup semi-finals, one thing can be said very clearly, we are not getting any new champions.

All four teams that reached the semi-finals are former and current champions and have reached this place based on their qualifications.

France, Spain and Argentina’s entry into the last four was expected from the beginning.

However, if we talk about personal experience, I didn’t think so much at the beginning that England would reach the semi-finals.

But England have reached the semi-finals as a more qualified team.

And there is actually no surprise in this semi-final lineup. Although, apart from these semi-finalists, teams like Belgium and Morocco also had the qualification to play in the semi-finals.

But they were eliminated in the tough quarter-final match. Despite this, I have no hesitation in saying that with the football that Belgium and Morocco played, I would not be surprised if they reached the semi-finals.

Now, it remains to be seen which two teams will fight in the final.

From my personal belief, I have been saying that this time the champions will be from Europe.

I have explained that the champions from Europe does not mean a new team, but an old champions.

And the possibility of that happening is still very much alive. All three of the four semi-final teams are from Europe-France, Spain, and England.

The claimants to be the champions from Europe are also many. That claim is probably the most from Kylian Mbappe’s France.

France are also playing great. But it must be remembered that the results of the semi-finals or finals can go in any direction. Because, the calculations do not always match.

As in the case of England, it did not. Before the start of the tournament, many were hesitant to name England as a possible semi-final favorites. The other three teams have been mentioned repeatedly by analysts.

But after watching one or two matches after the start of the tournament, it was clear that this England team will go far. That prediction was true and they made it to the last four.

The 4-2 win against Croatia in the first match of the group stage served as a tonic for England. The way they snatched victory in every match after that was great.

Coach Thomas Tuchel is a great tactician and has taken the team to the semi-finals by using the talented footballers at his disposal.

Argentina, the last time’s champions team, you have to put them on your favorites list.

They have been playing strong football since qualifying and have already proven that the three-time champions deserve the semi-finals and finals.

Argentina came to the World Cup and came under intense pressure in the first two matches of the round of 32 and round of 16 of the knockouts.

However, in the end, Cape Verde and Egypt have taken out the matches with strength and experience. They have also overcome the obstacle of Switzerland.

Although Argentina had some problems in defense and goalkeeping, they were always ahead in the field.
