Australian PM apologises for offensive comments about pop star Kylie

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has come under fire for making offensive comments on a podcast about several prominent women in the country, including pop star Kylie Minogue.

Under intense pressure, the Australian Prime Minister issued a one-line official statement on Monday morning, saying, “I apologise unequivocally and unconditionally for my statements.”

Last week, Albanese was interviewed for comedian Nicky Osborne’s ‘Bush Deep’ podcast at the Australian Prime Minister’s official residence in Canberra.

At one point in the 20-minute interview, host Nicky playfully asked him who he would choose to marry, date or have a physical relationship with.

But when the host kept pressing him, the Prime Minister laughed and said, “Oh, of course Kylie Minogue.

Then host Nicky Osbourne asked again, “Does that mean you’ll marry Kylie, date her, and have sex with her?” In response, the Prime Minister said, “Yes, all of that with her. She’s amazing.”
