Anupam Roy’s concert in Dhaka postponed

The concert of popular West Bengal singer, lyricist and composer Anupam Roy and his band, scheduled to be held in Dhaka, has been postponed at the last minute.

The concert was scheduled to take place today (Friday). The decision to postpone it was announced a day ago.

Yamaha Music Bangladesh, the organiser of the concert, has confirmed the matter.

The organisation said that the necessary preparations and formalities were completed. Permission was also taken from the concerned authorities.

But on Thursday, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued instructions to postpone the event. That concert has been postponed.
