



Direct bus services between Magura and Narail have resumed after a suspension of 15 years.
The service has been restarted through a joint initiative of the Magura District Bus and Minibus Owners Group and the Narail District Bus Owners Association.
The inaugural ceremony was held at the Chaulia Bus Stand in Magura town on Saturday.
Member of Parliament for Magura-1, Monowar Hossain Khan, attended the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the direct bus service on the Magura-Narail route.
The event was presided over by Mir Abu Sayeed, president of the District Bus and Minibus Owners Group.
Among those present were the organization’s General Secretary Ishaq Mallik, former General Secretary Baharul Islam.
Joint General Secretary Kamruzzaman Milon, Senior Line Secretary Md. Matiar Rahman, Line Secretary Monirul Islam, Office Secretary Mir Mosharraf Hossain, and other leaders of the District Bus and Minibus Owners Group.
Transport sector representatives said that regular bus services on the route would continue to meet passenger demand and improve connectivity between the two districts.
