‘BD now most ideal destination for US investors’

Bangladesh Prime Minister’s Adviser for Finance and Planning, Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir said, Bangladesh has emerged as the most viable, effective, and secure destination for American investments.

He made these remarks as the Chief Guest at a high-level roundtable discussion organized by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) on Thursday which saw a significant turnout of mainstream US business leaders and executives, according to UNB repots.

State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, Aninda Islam Amit, attended the event as the Special Guest.

Addressing the prominent gathering of US corporate leaders, Dr. Titumir emphasized the democratic transition and said the current government’s proactive economic reforms make Bangladesh an incredibly lucrative and effective environment for US foreign direct investment (FDI).
