AKIJ Resource Launches ‘AKIJ Mediplex’
AKIJ Mediplex, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate AKIJ Resource, has begun its journey with the inauguration of its first diagnostic center in Mirpur 10, Dhaka.
The center was inaugurated on Wednesday by AKIJ Resource’s Chairman, FariaHossain. With this, AKIJ Resource enters the healthcare sector, alongside its foothold in construction industry, consumer goods, technology and services.
The diagnostic center is equipped with AI-based modern machinery and will offer all types of diagnostic and laboratory tests under the supervision of experienced physicians. Additionally, keeping patient convenience in mind, home sample collection and automated vital check facilities have also been arranged.
Addressing the inauguration, FariaHossain, Chairman of AKIJ Resource, said, ‘Healthcare is a sector directly linked to people’s quality of life. We believe that ensuring quality healthcare alongside Bangladesh’s economic progress is equally important. It is from that conviction that we have decided to make long-term investments in the health sector.’
She further added, ‘Our goal is not merely business expansion, but to build a healthcare network capable of delivering reliable and modern medical services to people across different regions of the country. AKIJ Resource has always prioritized investment in sectors that contribute to improving people’s lives. We believe our initiative in healthcare will also play a positive role in developing the country’s medical infrastructure and creating employment.’
Chief Business Officer of AKIJ Mediplex Limited Abu ZaforIqbalAhamed, said, ‘The demand for modern healthcare in Bangladesh is growing rapidly. But many people still have to wait long or travel far for quality diagnostic services and specialist care. We want to create a service environment where patients will receive fast and reliable diagnostic services through a combination of technology, expertise and human services.’
AKIJ Mediplex will have chambers for specialist doctors, state-of-the-art laboratories with German technology, digital reporting system, online appointments, home sample collection services and international standard laboratory facilities.
