DMP arrests 12 in Jatrabari drives

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 12 suspected criminals during a series of special drives conducted on Thursday in different crime-prone areas under Jatrabari Police Station.

According to a press release issued today by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media division, the arrested individuals were allegedly involved in various criminal activities in the area.

Police confirmed that the detainees were later produced before the court following the completion of legal procedures.

The arrested individuals are Md Shukur Miah (25), Md Rafiqul Islam (40), Tanvir (19), Mahir (20), Md Faizul Islam (23), Sohan (20), Md Hrydoy (25), Md Yakub Ali (21), Md Apon (22), Yahiya (28), Md Siam (20) and Azizur Rahman Mahfuz (26).

A DMP media division official stated that the arrests were made on June 4 during coordinated raids targeting several crime-prone locations within the jurisdiction of Jatrabari Police Station.
