Talha to serve as the pace bowling coach

Talha Jubair will serve as the pace bowling coach of the Bangladesh national team for the upcoming Australia and Zimbabwe series after the departure of Shaun Tait.

‘Working with the national team is the dream of every local coach,’ Talha expressing his feelings after taking the charge.

Talha Jubair said, “This is definitely something special. It’s always a dream to work for the Bangladesh cricket team and get the opportunity to test our skills against the best international teams in the world.

The strategic planning, the performance of the bowlers, everything is a big challenge.”

After the departure of Shaun Tait, the responsibility has come to the local coaches, “After Shaun Tait left, the responsibility has now come to us. Many local coaches are now working with the national team.

That’s an opportunity for all of us to take a step forward. Those who are working ahead will have an opportunity. If we can do well, a time may come when local coaches will work for the Bangladesh team.”

Talha also expressed his gratitude to the BCB for trusting local coaches. He said, “I would like to thank the BCB. They have realized, local coaches are also capable enough to work at this level. Now the challenge for us is how much we can maintain this place.”

Regarding his responsibilities in the Australia and Zimbabwe series, he said, “Since I will be working in the Australia and Zimbabwe series, we may be the ones to carry out this responsibility until a new bowling coach is appointed. “
