Nation back to work after Eid

Normal working life has resumed across the country as government and private offices, along with banks, insurance companies and capital market institutions, reopened on Monday following a seven-day break for Eid-ul-Azha.

The government had announced public holidays from May 25 to May 31, allowing employees an extended vacation that combined the festival holiday with the weekly weekend.

With the end of the holiday period, millions of employees returned to their workplaces, restoring regular administrative, financial and business activities nationwide.

The reopening marks a return to full-scale operations in both public and private sectors after days of reduced activity during the Eid break.
