Nahid Rana to play for Mohammedan in DPL

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club have roped in national team pacer Nahid Rana ahead of the crucial match of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Super League phase.

The right-arm pacer was unable to play in the DPL from the start due to his busy schedule against Pakistan.

The black & white team haveable to bring him into the team at a crucial time of the season.

Mohammedan brought Nahid from Abahani Limited to the team based on an agreement between the two Clubs. He played for Abahani last season.

Mohammedan took the initiative to include him in the team as he has the opportunity to return to the DPL after completing his national team duties.

Nahid’s official registration will be completed today. Then, tomorrow, he will take the field in an important Super League match against Legends of Rupganj.

Currently, Mohammedan are in a relatively good position in the Super League with 12 points after seven matches.

On the other hand, Legends of Rupganj are breathing down their necks with 10 points from seven matches. As a result, the match between the two teams has become quite important in terms of the points table.

The inclusion of Nahid, who has been in the news for the national team recently, is expected to add extra strength to Mohammedan’s bowling attack. His presence could be a big asset for the team in the Super League competition.
