Gas supply to remain off in Savar, Ashulia

Gas supply will remain suspended for 18 hours in several areas of Savar and Ashulia from today due to gas pipeline replacement work.

In a notice issued on Saturday, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC said gas supply will remain suspended from 11pm on Sunday to 5pm on Monday on both sides of the highway from Amin Bazar DRS to Nabinagar.

The affected areas include Baliarpur, Hemayetpur, Tannery Industrial Estate, Singair Road, Fulbaria, Nabinagar, Savar municipality, Savar Cantonment, Ashulia Bazar, Gauripur, Kumkumari, Rajashan, Kalma and nearby areas.

Consumers in adjoining areas may also experience low gas pressure during the period, the notice said.
Titas expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers.
