Shadman uncertain for Sylhet Test
Bangladesh won the first Test series against Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on Tuesday last.
The Tigers are leading the Two-Test series after winning the first Test by 104 runs.
The last Test of the series will be played from May 16.
This match will be played at the Sylhet International Stadium.
Both teams have started practicing in Sylhet with the last Test ahead.
The Tigers are worried about Shadman Islam’s injury before the last Test. The opener suffered a chest pain while taking a catch during the first Test.
Then, on Thursday, while he was batting in Sylhet, the injury reared its head again. He left the field after playing only a few balls.
According to reliable sources, Shadman Islam will not be playing in the second Test!
The team management has called Zakir Hasan to the team as Shadman’s replacement.
He has already been flown to Sylhet as a backup. Zakir will enter the second Test team if Shadman will be dropped due to injury.
However, Tanzid Hasan Tamim is more likely to make his debut in the second Test.
