Saad’s mini-series ‘Annie’ at Seriencamp Festival

After a five-year hiatus, ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’-famed film director Abdullah Mohammad Saad is back with new work. He has produced a mini-series titled ‘Annie’.

Nazifa Tushi plays the title role. Saad has conceived the series, written the screenplay, and directed it. ‘Annie’ has been selected for the world premiere

in the ‘Women in Series’ category at the Seriencamp Festival 2026 in Germany. For the first time, a Bangladeshi series has been selected for the Seriencamp Festival, one of the world’s most influential series-focused festivals.

The mini-series will be screened on June 9 at the festival to be held
in Cologne, Germany.
