Actress quits cinema after objections to intimate scenes

Actress Nauheed Cyrusi, who once acted in several films, could not become a Bollywood star. Now she is far away from the big screen. However, the ‘Anwar’ film actress and popular ‘Piya Basanti’ music video famed model is angry and proud about the working environment in the industry.

She released a video on Monday, revealing the real reason behind her absence from the big screen.
Nauheed alleged that when signing a film contract, it is often assumed that actors and actresses will agree to act in intimate or kissing scenes. But she has always objected to this.

In her words, “Nowadays, such scenes are kept without need, which is uncomfortable for me. Now, even if it is not necessary, kissing scenes are shown more. But I have to say, I don’t think it is very nice to watch.”

The actress claims that she lost several job opportunities because of this stance. She was also dropped before the proposal was even discussed because she was not comfortable with the scene.

Not only that, Nauheed Cyrusi also made explosive allegations about remuneration. She claimed that some producers did not pay her due remuneration even after making her work. As a result, she decided to gradually move away from the industry.

Currently, Nauheed is prioritising her life outside of acting. She is keeping in touch with her fans through social media. Her open statement once again brought to the fore another reality of the inner circle of the entertainment world.
