Woman cricketer jumps 48 places in ICC rankings

The Bangladesh women’s cricket team was whitewashed in a T20I against Sri Lanka at home recently.
Even though they didn’t win a single match, but several Bangladeshi cricketers received good news.
Sultana Khatun and Sharmin Akhter Supta have made big leaps in the latest ICC rankings.
Sultana Khatun took 6 wickets in the three-match T20I series. That made her the highest wicket-taker in the series.
Sultana bowled 10 overs in the three matches and conceded 58 runs.
Her best bowling figure was 3 wickets for 6 runs, and Sultana Khatun conceded only 9.66 runs per wicket.
Sultana has shown excellent performance with the ball, has made a huge leap in the rankings. she has jumped 48 places to 38th place in the bowlers’ rankings.
Meanwhile, two Bangladeshi batters Sharmin Akhter Supta, Swarna Akhter and Dilara Akhter have also made big leaps. Supta is 10 places ahead and is at number 37 in the batters’ rankings.
Dilara is 5 places ahead and is at 55, and Swarna has moved up 19 places. She is at 62nd place in the batters’ rankings.
There has been no change in the top 10. Australia’s Georgia Voll is the top batsman in women’s T20Is with 815 rating points.
Another Aussie batter, Beth Mooney, is in second place with 788 rating points. Laura Wolvert is in third place with two rating points less.
Hayley Matthews is in fourth place and Smriti Mandhana is in fifth place.
