At the capital’s Imperia Hotel on Friday, the IHI Photo Journalist Appreciation Award 2026 celebration Council organises a reception and memorial programme for 37 photojournalists from Bangladesh and Nepal. The event was attended by State Minister for Social Welfare Farzana Sharmin MP as chief guest, Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari and The New Nation Managing Editor Arshad Hosein as special guests. The event was presided over by Council Chairman and Managing Director of Imperial Hotel International Mashiur Rahman Suman.
