21 killed in 49 mob incidents in April

Mob violence that emerged in July 2024 continues to claim lives, with 21 people killed in mob attacks in April alone, according to a report released on Thursday by the Manabadhikar Sanskriti Foundation (MSF).

The rights organisation said its monthly report is prepared based on newspaper reports and field investigations.

According to MSF, 49 mob-related incidents were recorded in April, up from 36 in March, when 19 people were killed in such violence.
