Ananta-Barsha’s TVC return

Popular star couple Ananta and Barsha is set to appear on screen again after a long break.

Recently, at a press conference held at a five-star hotel in the capital, the duo announced that they are making a comeback through a new TVC. The project is for a real estate company.

The TVC, produced by Sheba Holdings, will be directed by Hiru Khan. Ananta shared that the production work will begin soon.

Meanwhile, the couple also confirmed their return to the big screen with the much-anticipated film ‘Netri: The Leader’.

Due to business commitments, they have not released any films in the past two years.

Ananta said, “After the release of our films in 2022 and 2023, we could not release any new films for nearly two years.

The main reason was our business engagements. It was difficult to manage time for films alongside our business responsibilities.”

The star couple is set to return this year with Netri. According to Ananta, the film is a joint production between Bangladesh and Turkey and has already been submitted to the censor board.

It will be released nationwide during a special occasion once it receives approval.

The film is based on South Asian politics and tells the story of a female leader’s struggle. Barsha plays the central role, while Ananta appears as her bodyguard.

In addition, around 70 percent of the work on the Liberation War-based mega project ‘Operation Jackpot’ has been completed.

Discussions are also underway with director Mohammad Iqbal regarding the shooting schedule of ‘Kill Him 2’, which is expected to be finalized soon.
