New DCs appointed in 11 districts

The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to 11 districts of the country.

The districts are Rajshahi, Chuadanga, Khulna, Madaripur, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Habiganj, Narsingdi, Meherpur, Lalmonirhat and Bandarban, reports BSS.

On Sunday, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard, which will come into immediate effect.

According to the notification, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Kazi Shahidul Islam has been posted as DC of Rajshahi, while Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Lutfun Nahar as DC of Chuadanga.

Deputy Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division Miju Hara Jannat has been made DC of Khulna and Deputy Secretary of the Finance Division Marzina Akter has been posted to Madaripur.
