Patriotic song ‘Ekti Bangladesh’ in new arrangement

One of the popular patriotic songs is ‘Ekti Bangladesh Tumi Jagroto Jonotar.’

The timeless song by lyricist Nazrul Islam Babu and composer Ajit Roy has been sung by noted singer Sabina Yasmin.

The song was newly composed on the occasion of Independence Day.

The music has been newly arranged by Emon Chowdhury.

The newly arranged song features Sabina Yasmin and Emon Chowdhury, Johad Reza Chowdhury and Sanjida Mahmud Nandita. They are joined by a group of child artistes.

They were seen in the video of the song, a joint venture of Grameenphone, Grey Dhaka and Fullscreen Films. The video was made by Iftekhar Mahmud Oshin.

Iftekhar Mahmud Oshin said, “This song sung by Sabina Yasmin deepens the spirit of independence and strengthens the depth of love for the country.

We have tried to present the song in a new way, keeping in tune with the times, to connect with viewers of all ages, especially children.

Now is their time to grow up. They should be instilled with patriotism from now on. That is what we have tried,” said a press release.
