Police nab Rana Sheikh case accused

RAB-6 has arrested Azmain Mollah (35), one of the absconding accused in the high-profile Rana Sheikh murder case that occurred in the Bou Bazar area under Khanjahan Ali police station in Khulna city.

RAB stated that its forces have been conducting regular operations to apprehend accused individuals sentenced to various terms or wanted under warrants, as well as to bring armed terrorists and drug traffickers to justice.

In continuation of these efforts, an operational team from RAB-6’s CPC Special Company conducted a drive in the Matibhanga area of Gouripur Union under Bhandaria police station in Pirojpur district at approximately 9:40 pm on Wednesday, based on secret information.

During this operation, Md. Azmain Mollah, linked to the investigation of the Rana Sheikh (34) murder case, which took place on 7 January in the Jandipur Bou Bazar area under Khanjahan Ali police station, was arrested.
