Tasnuva Tisha is my senior, but friend: Shamim

“When you have an old friend as a colleague on the shoot, a different comfort zone is created in acting. You can chat, talk and have fun while shooting. The times are good,” said popular TV actor Shamim Hasan Sarkar, expressing his joy upon meeting his long-time friend and colleague actress Tasnuva Tisha on the shoot.
Shamim also said, “To be honest, Tisha is my senior, but a friend. She started acting long before me. During the shoot, I told her, ‘You are my senior. What can I say to you?’ You and I didn’t matter. Friendship is the real thing because it is difficult to find good friends in the media. Friendly relations are very rare when you come to work here.”
Friendship of Shamim and Tisha began eight years ago while acting in a drama. They have acted in many dramas as a pair since then. They have not been seen together for a long time. This time they have returned with roots. The drama is directed by Sokal Ahmed. At the end of the day, people want to return to their roots. This Eid drama revolves around the story of recognising those roots.
The actor said that he regularly acts with many people. But in that sense, he does not receive much praise from his colleagues during shooting. This is a source of pain for him.
Shamim said that although he himself praises the acting of many people, including his seniors, he does not receive much praise or criticism from the artistes themselves. “When a co-star tells an artiste, ‘Your acting is good’ or points out a flaw, it helps a lot in doing good work. We don’t get that feedback during shooting. No one in our industry wants to praise anyone. Tisha is an exception here. After every scene, she will say, ‘It was good.’ Unknowingly, the appreciation works,” he said and adding, “If I take Tasnuva Tisha’s case, after finishing shooting for a scene, she once said, ‘Your acting in romantic scene is much better than before.’
Lastly, Shamim said, “Tasnuva Tisha and I acted regularly once. But suddenly she took a break from shooting. If she works regularly, we will also be able to work on good stories regularly. I want her to work regularly.”
