Southeast Bank marks full automation of CAD operations

The Credit Administration Division (CAD) of Southeast Bank PLC organised a programme on Wednesday to mark the successful completion of the full centralization and automation of documentation and limit-loading functions.
The initiative is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening regulatory compliance and supporting sustainable and environmentally responsible banking practices.
The event was attended by M A Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, as chief guest, along with Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer; additional managing directors; deputy managing directors; divisional heads and branch managers from across the bank.
During the programme, Kamrul Islam, Head of the Credit Administration Division, presented the division’s performance highlights for 2025.
In his opening remarks, Khairul Anam Mohiuddin, CSA, CFFP, Deputy Head of CAD, outlined the strategic planning and execution behind the automation and centralisation process.
He said the initiative has contributed to reducing the bank’s internal carbon footprint by minimising paper usage and expanding digital communication.
Additional Managing Directors and the Managing Director delivered motivational speeches, offering strategic direction for future initiatives, and reiterating the bank’s commitment to advancing its green banking agenda.
In his closing remarks, M A Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, said the bank aims to further elevate its service quality and compliance standards, positioning Southeast Bank PLC as a forward looking institution that integrates environmental responsibility into its core operations.
The programme concluded with a reaffirmation of the Credit Administration Division’s commitment to leveraging its enhanced capabilities to support the bank’s future objectives and contribute to a more sustainable financial system.
