‘Hathazari was neglected for 17 years’

Chattogram Bureau :

Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, the BNP candidate for Chattogram-5 (Hathazari-Bayezid) constituency, said that just by entering the village from the main road, you can understand how neglected Hathazari was in the last 17 years.

A group had been in power for a long time by taking away the people’s voting rights. During this time, they have only changed their own fate.

The fate of the common people has not changed. He said these things at a day-long public relations and road meeting in Farhadabad Union No. 1 of Hathazari Upazila on Wednesday.

Mir Helal said that in the coming days, no one will be able to play tricks on the fate of Hathazari residents. He also highlighted the plan to build a model parliamentary constituency from Farhadabad to Jalalabad.

At the beginning of the day, he started the public relations by visiting the shrine of Hazrat Aminul Haque Farhadabadi (RA).

Later, he exchanged greetings with traders, workers, passengers and common people at Nazirhat Bazar through Bangshal area and sought votes with rice ears. During this time, he inaugurated some election offices of Farhadabad Union.

Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates, social workers and people from different classes and professions were present at the mass communication and rally.
