Australian education roadshow held in Dhaka, Chattogram
City Desk :
Australia’s leading edtech company, Studynet, successfully organised the Australian Higher Education Roadshow 2026 in Dhaka and Chattogram, drawing a large turnout of students aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia.
This large-scale international education event, aimed at students interested in studying in Australia, was organized by Studynet, an AI-powered Australian edtech platform. The two-day roadshow witnessed enthusiastic participation from a significant number of students and parents.
The first phase of the roadshow was held on 14 January 2026 at The Peninsula Hotel, Chattogram, followed by the second phase on 17 January 2026 at the Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka. From morning until evening, the events were marked by vibrant engagement from students and guardians. Representatives from more than 30 renowned Australian universities participated directly in the roadshow.
Among them were institutions from the prestigious Group of Eight (Go8), including the University of Wollongong, La Trobe University, Flinders University, CQUniversity, Federation University, Torrens University, along with several other higher education institutions.
Participating students had the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives and received practical, personalized guidance on selecting suitable courses and universities based on their academic backgrounds.
Considering the academic demands and employment trends of 2026, special focus was placed on high-demand and career-oriented disciplines such as Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Nursing, and Health Sciences.
Another key attraction of the roadshow was the free profile assessment and expert counseling sessions. Experienced counselors from Studynet provided personalized advice based on students’ academic qualifications, financial capacity, and long-term career plans.
Students were also informed in detail about maximum scholarship opportunities, tuition fee discounts, GSR, IELTS, SHC requirements, and post-study work pathways.
The event also generated strong interest among students in Studynet’s two advanced AI platforms-Studynet.io and Studynet.ai. Through these platforms, students learned how artificial intelligence can assist in course selection, budget planning, personalized counseling, and provide instant guidance on future education and career pathways.
Several participating students shared that speaking directly with university representatives helped clear long-standing confusion and made the decision-making process regarding higher education in Australia much easier.
Organizers noted that, continuing the momentum from last year, student participation and interest in this year’s roadshow exceeded expectations. According to them, such initiatives play a vital role in enabling students to make informed, realistic, and data-driven decisions.
Australia’s international-standard education system, research-oriented curricula, and the opportunity to gain practical work experience alongside studies have collectively positioned the country as a top destination for long-term career planning.
Currently, nearly 25,000 Bangladeshi students are studying at various Australian universities, creating a strong and supportive student community for new aspirants. Students who were unable to attend the roadshow in person or who wish to receive one-on-one counseling later can visit Studynet’s offices in Banani, Dhanmondi, Uttara, Sylhet, and Chattogram.
The offices remain open six days a week (Saturday to Thursday), from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for direct consultation and assistance. Studynet is not merely an education consultancy; it is a trusted and responsible companion throughout a student’s entire higher education journey.
From course selection and university applications to scholarship processing and visa filing, Studynet provides personalized guidance and support at every step.
