BNP, Jamaat potentials to fight for votes

Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament election campaign has begun in Kishoreganj -5 (Bajitpur -Nikli) constituency is known as a battle ground between three heavyweight candidates.

Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Dal (BNP), General Secretary, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has formally on Thursday announced , Party’s central leader,also Kishoreganj district BNP, Sr.Vice-president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Iqbal nominated candidate for Kishoreganj -5 (Bajitpur -Nikli) constituency. Member of Parliament (MP) candidates of political parties have continue their mass outreach through mass outreach, street meetings, yard meetings,banners, posters, Placards, and handbills in the constituencies -166.

The Parliamentary seat is moderately stronghold for BNP as its arch rival Awami League’s (AL’s) activities are remaining banned.

Although, BNP nominated candidate, central leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Iqbal is a potential candidate.

Professor Md. Ramzan Ali, district Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat -e-Islami,who is campaigning as a Jamaat -e-Islami candidate, and said that after fall of the autocratic Hasina government, People’s perception of Jamaat has changes and public involvement has also increased.

Among are the Advocate Hasnat Quaium, Convener of Bangladesh State Reform Movement , and Apex Court Senior advocate Syed Ehsanul Huda, President of Bangladesh National Party, also coordinator of the 12 -Party alliance, working the election campaign. Advocate Hasnat Quaium, a lawyer of Apex Court has continued his campaign as an MP candidate of Bangladesh State Reform Movement.

Several potential candidate are preparing for national election. However, it will be known only after the scheduled is announced who will be in the final battleground.
