Filling station fined for illegal gas filling

A mobile court in the port city fined Tk.40 thousand for allegedly filling the CNG gas into gas cylinder in an unauthorised way in the port city on Tuesday evening.
Kuliachar CNG filling station located at Pologround in city illegally filled the cylinder gas bottle .
Mobile court officials seized 55 bottles of cylinder from the station.
District executive Magistrate Arafat Hossain led the mobile court, sources said.
He told the mediamen that the said filling station committed offense under section 13 of Gas Act-2010 and hence penalty imposed for Tk.40,000 in connection. Sources said no filling station is authorized to fill CNG gas in cylinder either than the approved marketing companies.
