View-exchange meeting with DDOs held in Rangamati

A view-exchange meeting on proper maintenance of accounts, duties and responsibilities of Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) was held at the hall room of the district council on Sunday. Rangamati District Accounts Office arranged the meeting.
Controller General of Accounts (CGA) Md. Abul Kasem was chief guest at the meeting, while Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Rangamati Md. Shamshul Arefin was special guest. Controller General of Accounts, Chittagong Division, Md. Mostafa Kamal presided over the meeting.
CGA Md. Abul Kasem said government has taken an initiative for maintaining official accounts properly through digitisation. Within a short time all district and upazila level accounts offices will be brought under digitisation.He also said those who retired from government services will be paid their pension and other facilities through their own bank accounts.
