Inter-University T20 Cricket in Chittagong begins tomorrow

UNB, Chittagong :
The Dokkhina First Inter-University T20 Cricket Tournament, organized Chittagong Divisional Sports Association (CDSA), begins on Tuesday at the Divisional Women’s Sports complex here.
Premier University will play International Islami University in the opening match.
Newly elected Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation AJM Nasiruddin will inaugurate the eight-team tournament in the morning. Editor and Publisher of the meet’s sponsor monthly “Dokhina” Sarwar Jahan will also present as special guest.
Convener of the Tournament Committee Saifullah Chowdhury disclosed the details of the meet at a press conference at the Chittagong Divisional Sports Association (CDSA) office at MA Aziz Stadium here.
CDSA vice-president Alhaj Ali Abbas, General Secretary Sirajuddin Mohammad Alamgir spoke on the occasion while CDSA Treasurer Taherul Alam Chowdhury Swapon and Tournament’s joint convener Ali Ikramul Haque Moni were also present.
Participating teams are: Chittagong University, Southern University, Premier University, East Delta University, Chittagong Independent University, Chittagong International Islami University, Cox’s Bazar International University and BGC Trust University.
